How Much Sugar is Really in Your Food. Print E-mail

If you are reading a label to see how much sugar is in it, just reading the sugar grams is not correct.  These are just the added sugar grams.  You must subtract the dietary fiber from the the total carbohydrates to properly determine the amount of sugar in a food item.
